Well ...2012... almost 3 years since i last blogged!

So much has changed, it's crazy actually how much has changed since 2009! a very brief list of change of events would be....

I have now finished my History Degree, I got a 2:1 wooop!
I now unfortunately live back home with my parents, but on the bright-side its cheaper this way!
I am now a 'Cover Supervisor' (posh name for a supply teacher) at a school in Derbyshire and i also take my own KS3 History and R.E classes!
I have my own car...Little Polly the Peugeot ...its a 107 and aqua blue.
I am now 21...22 in May but we're not going to talk about that!

Now for things that haven't changed
I still have the most amazing friends all the same as last time i blogged! - i don't want to loose that bunch of amazing people (don't get too big headed though you lot!)
I am still going out with James and we have been going out for over 3 years! Crazy times I know.
I'm still a Brownie leader and have even ventured out into taking my own sessions, rather than just being lazy and turning up every Wednesday evening!
Erm i can't really think of much more, but i'm sure there's plenty of things that are the same!

So what has actually happened since the 12th December 2009...
Well in the following summer i went to Gran Canaria with James, we had such an amazing time but lots of sun and free alcohol is always a plus!
All of the uni girls went on placement so they left me for a year but i still had the amazing Aasha to keep me company and the history lot! :)
I got a job at Gap in the summer as well, I loved that job, on the tills asking if anyone want a free 15% off voucher for next time they shopped...sad i know! I met some amazing people there and couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to work with! Still keep in touch with most of them now and i'm always popping in to see what deals i can get!
Me and James auditioned for Coach Trip! How cool are we! We didn't get on but oh well!
Obviously a lot more happened in 2010 but i cba to write all about it!

2011 well what a year!

For all the uni girls birthdays we went to different cities for a weekend away which so much fun! Aasha we went to Birmingham and apparently saw someone get shot but i was unaware of this at the time lol! I missed out on Nicky's because of uni exams :( But for mine we went to Manchester! Laura and Clare came with as well and it was such a good weekend with plenty of drinking, laughing, gossiping and dancing ...i wasn't a fan of Nicky and Anna's drinking game of 'pick a card....right that one means you have to shot 2 vodkas' cheers for the hangover the following day girls...well thats what i'm blaming anyway not the drinking from lunch time! Anna's we went to London and saw Glee at the O2 arena! OMG they were amazing! Sam's we went to York for another amazing night. and finally Danielle's we went down to Reading and went to Ascot, i didn't win much but fun all the same! We now know that if we want betting tips to go to Sam though!

In the June for my Birthday James' took me to York for a few days, it was so nice to just get away just us two, we did the standard site-seeing and history geek stuff!

I obviously also finished my final year and wrote my 14,000 word dissertation on Women's Social and Political activities within Nottinghamshire Mining communities. Sounds posh but believe me it wasn't and i definitely do not want to repeat those long days of 9-7 in the library! All worth it in the end though!

I got my job as a cover supervisor in the June, i can't believe how lucky i was to get this! and how i actually like what i do!

Last summer even though we did some amazing things wasn't the best because my Mama was in intensive care at Nottingham City Hospital for most of it, it was a very scary time and wouldn't wish that on anyone but thankfully she pulled through and she's a lot better now :)

In August, James, Me, Laura, Andy, Sam and Billy went to V festival! OMG what a weekend! I saw Eminem and Rihanna and that's just for starters! We're going again this year and i can't wait! Fingers crossed the weather will be just as boiling as last year but i've got a feeling it's going to rain... a lot!

My brother Sam got into Uni and he's studying History at Hallam and living at Exchange Works...sound familiar? hmmm some may say he's stole my life... lol!

I had my graduation in November and it was prob one of the proudest moments of my life! I loved the Cap and Gown and i did a lot of swooshing around in it. All my family came including my Mama and it was a really lovely day :)

And so it comes up to now really, nothing much has happened this year so far just generally been alright, i have no money but that's a standard!

This year i've got loads to look forward to though including, Dorset with the family and James, Ibiza with James, V festival and just other general stuff!

Finger crossed it won't be as long as last time that when i next blog...

Much Love Charlotte x
